Here We Go!

This is me.

"This is My Cancer Fighting Shirt."

This is cancer getting trounced.

Despite my growing nausea, I am ready for this.

Throughout the day, Scott will post updates as they become available.

Wish us luck and prayers. If you're not the spiritual type, here's one from Laila. Use it as inspiration, if you like.
May God help the scars not hurt for a lot of your life.
We pray to the Lord,
Lord, hear our prayer.
Amen

Dear Liz…

I'm thinking and praying for you and your family today. I just wanted to let you know that my mother survived more than 30 years after her radical mastectomy. That was done in 1954 and they knew very little about cancer compared to now.

Here's one of her favorite quotes from Our Lady of Guadalupe to (St.) Juan Diego which I'd like to share with you…

"Fear nothing… neither pain, nor sickness, nor things which seem to be grievous accidents to men. Am I not here? Am I not your Mother? Am I not life itself and truest health? You are in my lap and counted as mine!"

May the Blessed Mother be with you today in your surgery as well as in your full recovery!

Lovingly,

Marius (Andaházy)
